It may have become noticeable that each of our posts have been created by faceless bloggers from somewhere out in the world. Why is this you ask? Are we ashamed to show ourselves? Don’t we want to introduce ourselves to other would-be and existing world travelers? After all, we already posted about how one of us gave notice at work. What could possibly be holding us back? What’s the catch?
Ahhh…. but there it is. The answer IS there muddled into the questions above! One of us HAS given notice at work! Only one… not two. To avoid inadvertently and prematurely spilling the beans to the employer not yet ‘in the know‘, we have decided on a no face and sort-of no name policy. I, Laura, am comfortable enough to put my first name out there however, my other half shall affectionately be referred to as ‘Hubby’ until he deems it time to shed his alter ego.
We in fact are extremely excited to post that very first picture of ourselves to this site. This small, seemingly insignificant event will signify the time has actually come to make good on all our dreaming and planning. That we are truly ready to step away from life as we know it and jump in head first to whatever lies in store!
